my name is Brent and i am from Cape Town,South Africa.I am an ex drug addict and made a choice to change my life around...for the good.I gave my heart and life to Jesus and was set free from drugs.
I was also a drug dealer in my community,Bridgetown and i have dedicated my life to making a change in the community i once help destroy.I have destroyed many homes and families in the past with my evil activities and now it is time to give back.
I initially came to Impact Direct Ministries for help and was placed into their Daily Drug Programme.After finishing this programme i saw that there was a great need in our community and started to volunteer for the organization.The organization sent me on various training and workshops and i eventually became one of the counselors at Impact Direct.I am also now a Community Devoloper in our city.I attend lots of meetings with Social Development as what is happening in our communities.I have dedicated my life to helping others.
In this blog i will be showing you things in and around my community.The Centre is based in Bridgetown,a small community on the Cape Flats.I will be blogging about the meetings i attend and the work i am doing in the our schools etc.
I hope and trust that you will be enjoying this journey with me as i give you a peak into my world.
